I experienced coaching for the first time in 2002. It was an incredibly opening experience and something I’ve valued as helping me get to where I am today-a qualified coach and NLP practitioner!
Born in New Zealand, I’ve lived in Madrid for the past eight years, and have also lived in London for many years. This has given me great insight into the challenges and rewards of living in different countries and different cultures. I’ve discovered when you live outside your own country and culture you gain more clarity (or more questions!!) about who you are because you are not surrounded by the familiar.
As well as being a qualified coach, I’ve worked as a facilitator for an English language immersion programme in Spain and Germany, a primary school teacher, and a presenter and trainer in schools-both for teachers and students. Through these roles I’ve worked with a huge diversity of people, at all levels, which has helped me come to understand more of the challenges people face in their workplaces and daily lives. This rich and varied experience has also allowed me glimpses into the inner workings of the wonderful human beings we are!
I am positive, enthusiastic, supportive, not afraid to challenge if that’s what you need, willing to ask those hard questions that maybe you’ve been avoiding (!) and generally an all round cheerleader.
